ISAKOS Congress Scholarships

ISAKOS is pleased to announce registration scholarships will be awarded for the 16th Biennial ISAKOS Congress!

Qualifications and application requirements are included below. We encourage all eligible registrants to apply!

Young Professionals or Developing Countries Registration Scholarships

Up to 100 scholarships are available to young professionals or individuals from a country with limited resources. Recipients will receive a 50% discount on registration to the 2027 Congress, May 30 – June 2 in Sydney, Australia

Eligibility and Application Requirements

Young Professionals are categorized as those 45 years of age or younger. To confirm eligibility applicants will be asked to provide their date of birth. Developing countries refers to the World Bank Classifications of low/lower/middle/upper middle income economies. To confirm eligibility applicants will be asked to confirm their Country of residence.

In addition to providing your CV, years in practice, and specialty and subspecialty, applicants will be asked to:

  • State your educational goals for attending the 2027 Biennial ISAKOS Congress. Please describe how you will benefit from the scholarship.
  • Provide a statement of need that explains your financial situation.

Review Process

All scholarship applications will be reviewed by members of the ISAKOS Young Professionals Task Force. Recipients will receive a special code for a 50% discount on their eligible registration category.

Application Deadline and Award Notification

Deadline to submit applications is October 31, 2026. Applications will be reviewed after the submission deadline, with recipients being notified no later than December 1, 2026.

Important: If you are applying for a Registration Scholarship, please do not register for the Congress until you have received notification regarding the status of your application.

Orthoregeneration Network Foundation Education Grants

Education Grants will be awarded to highly motivated and talented early career investigators to attend the 2027 ISAKOS Congress in Sydney, Australia, May 30 – June 2, 2027 by providing USD $600 toward meeting registration and travel costs.

Deadline for Application: January 15, 2027

Applicants will be notified of acceptance on January 31, 2027. Grantees should register independently for the Congress.

Condition: Grantees must attend the 2027 ISAKOS Congress and are requested to provide a report outlining how the grant funds were used and the impact the grant has had on their career. Grantees are also requested to share their experience from the Congress on social media, tagging the ON Foundation and ISAKOS.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must be current members of ISAKOS
  • Candidates are below 40 years of age
  • Candidates have a strong interest in orthoregeneration 
  • Candidates have not benefited from a similar support program in the last 24 months
